These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, digital platform, mobile applications (if any), and services provided by Social Tree Technology Private Limited ("Company", "we", "our", or "us").
These Terms apply to every visitor, user, participant, student, institution, organization, or any other person accessing or using the Company's website or services.
By accessing the website, registering for any Program, making any payment, or using any of the Company's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the Company's Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, you should not access or use the Company's website or services.
Important Notice Regarding Internship and Platform Services
The Internship itself is FREE and is conducted as a physical/offline internship. Social Tree Technology Private Limited does not charge an internship fee for providing or facilitating the internship opportunity.
Participants may undertake the internship through the Company's applicable physical/offline process, subject to the eligibility, documentation, availability, schedule, and other requirements applicable to the Participant and the relevant Program.
The Company may also provide online/platform-based educational and technology-enabled services to support and manage the internship.
Where a Participant registers for or uses such digital/platform services, the applicable Platform Registration Charge shall be payable as displayed on the relevant registration page.
The Platform Registration Charge is not an internship fee, placement fee, or fee for purchasing, securing, or guaranteeing an internship opportunity. It is a charge for the applicable digital and technology-enabled services provided through the Company's Platform.
Depending on the applicable Program, such services may include:
- Digital registration and onboarding;
- Student Dashboard / Online Portal access;
- Learning Management System (LMS) access;
- Digital learning resources and study materials;
- Digital submission of assignments, activities, reports, or other required work;
- Digital evaluation and assessment;
- Digital progress tracking;
- Digital record maintenance;
- Online communication and programme-related updates;
- Live or recorded digital learning sessions, where applicable;
- Digital coordination and mentor/support services, where applicable;
- Technical support;
- Documentation support;
- Digital generation and delivery of certificates and other programme-related documents, where applicable; and
- Other technology-enabled educational and support services associated with the registered Program.
The internship itself, participation in the internship, applicable internship requirements, evaluation requirements, and eligibility for a certificate are not dependent solely upon payment of the Platform Registration Charge.
Participants who do not use the Company's digital/platform services may follow the applicable physical/offline procedures for participation, submission, evaluation, documentation, and certificate issuance, subject to the applicable Program requirements.
Accordingly, the Participant understands that the Internship is FREE, while the applicable digital/platform services are chargeable where applicable.
The availability and scope of particular digital or physical services may vary according to the applicable Program and shall be communicated through the relevant registration page, programme information, or other official communication.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:
Company means Social Tree Technology Private Limited, including its directors, employees, officers, representatives, affiliates, successors, and authorized service providers.
Platform means the Company's website, digital portal, student dashboard, mobile applications (if any), software, learning management systems, communication systems, and other technology-enabled services provided by the Company.
Participant means any student, learner, intern, researcher, faculty member, institution, organization, visitor, or any person who registers, accesses, or uses the Platform or any services offered by the Company.
Program means any internship, training programme, certification course, workshop, webinar, research support service, project guidance, dissertation support, faculty development programme, digital learning service, or any other educational or technology-enabled service offered by the Company.
Physical/Offline Internship means the internship activity undertaken by the Participant through physical participation at the applicable office, institution, organization, field location, workplace, project site, or other designated or approved location, as applicable to the Program.
Platform Registration Charge means the applicable amount payable for registration on and use of the Company's digital Platform and the associated online/platform-based educational, evaluation, documentation, communication, and technology-enabled support services made available to the Participant.
Content means all study materials, videos, documents, presentations, graphics, software, source code, dashboards, learning resources, assignments, assessments, templates, logos, trademarks, designs, text, audio, visual content, and other material made available through the Platform.
2. Services
Social Tree Technology Private Limited is a technology-enabled educational services company providing educational support, internship-related services, digital learning resources, technology solutions, and related services.
The Company may offer, either directly or in collaboration with educational institutions, industry partners, experts, trainers, mentors, or third-party organizations, services including but not limited to:
- Internship Programs;
- Industrial Training;
- Research & Academic Support;
- Dissertation & Project Guidance;
- Faculty Development Programmes (FDP);
- Skill Development Programmes;
- Certification Courses;
- Workshops & Webinars;
- Career Development Services;
- Digital Learning Resources;
- Mentor Support;
- Student Dashboard & Learning Portal;
- Assignment & Activity Support;
- Technical Support;
- Documentation Support;
- Placement Readiness Programmes;
- AI & Emerging Technology Programmes; and
- Any other educational or technology-enabled services introduced by the Company from time to time.
The scope, duration, eligibility, applicable charges, learning outcomes, features, schedules, mentors, trainers, locations, and availability of any Program may vary from one Program to another.
The Company may modify such matters whenever reasonably necessary for academic, operational, technical, legal, administrative, or business reasons.
3. Registration
For Programs registered through the Company's online Platform, registration shall be deemed complete upon successful submission of the registration form, verification of required details where applicable, and successful payment of the applicable Platform Registration Charge.
Registration through the Platform provides access to the applicable digital/platform-based services associated with the relevant Program.
The Participant may also participate in the applicable physical/offline internship process in accordance with the requirements and procedures of the relevant Program.
The Participant agrees that all information provided during registration or participation is true, accurate, complete, and up to date.
The Participant shall be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their information and shall promptly update the Company if any material information changes.
The Company reserves the right to verify information and request additional documents or information whenever reasonably required.
The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, cancel, or terminate any registration or participation where:
- False, inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or fraudulent information has been provided;
- The Participant violates these Terms & Conditions;
- The Participant engages in unlawful, unethical, abusive, or fraudulent activities;
- The Company reasonably believes that continued participation may adversely affect the Platform, other Participants, or the Company's operations; or
- Participation is prohibited under applicable law.
4. College / University Approval & Participant Responsibility
Different colleges, universities, educational institutions, employers, regulatory authorities, professional bodies, and academic programmes may prescribe their own eligibility criteria, approvals, permissions, No Objection Certificates (NOC), consent letters, introduction letters, undertakings, internship approvals, research approvals, dissertation approvals, project approvals, or other documentation.
Before participating in any Program, the Participant is responsible for understanding and complying with the requirements of their respective institution or authority.
The Participant is responsible for ensuring that they satisfy applicable eligibility requirements and obtain any approval, permission, NOC, consent, or other documentation required by their institution or authority.
The Participant understands that institutional policies may differ and may change from time to time.
Social Tree Technology Private Limited shall not be liable for rejection, non-acceptance, cancellation, non-recognition, withholding of marks or credits, refusal of academic approval, or any academic or professional consequence arising from the Participant's failure to obtain required approvals or comply with applicable institutional or regulatory requirements.
5. Platform Registration Charge
The Internship itself is provided without an internship fee.
The Platform Registration Charge is separate from the internship opportunity and relates to the applicable digital/platform-based educational and technology-enabled services.
The applicable amount shall be displayed on the registration page of the relevant Program and may be revised by the Company from time to time.
The Platform Registration Charge may cover, where applicable:
- Digital registration and onboarding;
- Student Dashboard or Portal access;
- Learning Management System (LMS) access;
- Digital learning resources;
- Study materials;
- Digital submission of assignments, activities, reports, and other required work;
- Digital evaluation and assessment;
- Digital verification and progress tracking;
- Assignments and activity support;
- Mentor coordination;
- Live or recorded digital learning sessions;
- Project or research guidance support;
- Documentation support;
- Technical support;
- Communication services;
- Digital record maintenance and programme documentation;
- Digital generation and delivery of certificates and other programme-related documents, where applicable; and
- Other platform-based educational and support services associated with the registered Program.
The Platform Registration Charge is not a fee for providing, selling, guaranteeing, or securing:
- Internship placement;
- Employment or job opportunities;
- Academic admission;
- Academic credits;
- University or institutional approval;
- Research approval;
- Dissertation approval;
- Project approval;
- Publication;
- Degree or diploma;
- Government recognition;
- Examination results;
- Placement; or
- Any statutory, academic, or professional entitlement.
Payment of the Platform Registration Charge does not create any employer-employee relationship, student-university relationship, placement obligation, or guarantee of any academic or professional outcome.
The Participant understands and agrees that the Platform Registration Charge relates to the digital/platform-based services and support provided by the Company, and not to the internship opportunity itself.
6. Nature of Services
Social Tree Technology Private Limited operates as a technology-enabled educational services company.
The Company provides educational support services, internship-related support, digital infrastructure, learning resources, mentoring support, coordination services, documentation assistance, technology solutions, and related educational services.
The Company is not:
- A University;
- A College;
- A Degree-awarding Institution;
- An Examining Authority;
- A Government Body;
- A Statutory Authority;
- A Placement Agency;
- A Recruitment Agency; or
- An Employer.
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific Program, the Company does not guarantee internship placement, employment, admission, academic credit, institutional approval, research approval, dissertation approval, publication, examination results, degrees, diplomas, government recognition, or any specific academic, educational, or professional outcome.
Any recognition, approval, academic credit, internship acceptance, dissertation acceptance, research approval, publication, or similar outcome shall remain subject to the policies, procedures, eligibility criteria, and decisions of the concerned college, university, employer, institution, professional body, regulatory authority, or examining body.
The Company shall make reasonable efforts to provide the services associated with the applicable Program but does not guarantee any specific academic, educational, professional, or employment outcome.
7. Participant Responsibilities
Before registering for any Program, the Participant is responsible for understanding the nature, scope, eligibility requirements, applicable charges, learning outcomes, internship requirements, and other details of the applicable Program.
The Participant shall independently determine whether the Program or services offered by Social Tree Technology Private Limited are suitable for their academic, educational, professional, or personal requirements.
The Participant shall independently verify whether the Program or services satisfy the requirements of their college, university, employer, institution, professional body, regulatory authority, or any other relevant authority.
The Participant shall:
- Provide true, accurate, complete, and up-to-date information;
- Participate actively and responsibly in the Program;
- Complete all assignments, activities, projects, reports, or other required work within prescribed timelines;
- Follow all applicable academic, institutional, and Program guidelines;
- Maintain appropriate professional and ethical conduct;
- Keep their login credentials secure and confidential when using the online Platform; and
- Comply with all applicable laws and these Terms & Conditions.
The Company shall not be liable if any institution, employer, university, regulatory authority, or other organization refuses to recognize, approve, accept, evaluate, or grant credit for any internship, project, dissertation, research work, report, certificate, or educational activity.
8. Academic Integrity & Original Work
Social Tree Technology Private Limited promotes honesty, originality, ethical conduct, and academic integrity in all educational activities.
The Participant shall ensure that every assignment, internship report, project, dissertation, thesis, research work, presentation, publication, software, documentation, or other submission is their own original work or is prepared in accordance with applicable academic standards.
The Participant shall not engage in:
- Plagiarism;
- Copying another person's work;
- Submitting another person's work as their own;
- Fabrication or falsification of information, records, or research data;
- Copyright infringement;
- Academic dishonesty;
- Impersonation;
- Use of unauthorized study material;
- Cheating or unfair means;
- Unauthorized collaboration;
- Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, software, or automated content generation in violation of applicable institutional policies or specific Program guidelines; or
- Any other form of academic or professional misconduct.
The Participant shall remain responsible for the originality, legality, accuracy, authenticity, and ownership of all work submitted.
Any consequences arising from plagiarism, copyright infringement, AI misuse, copied work, rejection of reports or projects, cancellation of internships, denial of academic credit, disciplinary action, legal proceedings, institutional penalties, or other academic or professional consequences shall be the responsibility of the Participant.
Social Tree Technology Private Limited shall not be liable for such consequences.
9. User Conduct
The Participant agrees to use the Platform lawfully, responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
The Participant shall not:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose;
- Provide false or misleading information;
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Platform, servers, databases, software, or user accounts;
- Upload viruses, malware, ransomware, or malicious software;
- Interfere with the normal operation or security of the Platform;
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate any mentor, trainer, employee, participant, or representative of the Company;
- Share, sell, transfer, rent, sublicense, or permit another person to use their registered account or login credentials;
- Attempt to circumvent payment requirements or Platform security measures;
- Use the Platform in a manner that may damage the Company's reputation or interfere with other users; or
- Engage in fraudulent, unethical, or illegal activity.
The Company reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Platform where it reasonably believes that a Participant has violated these Terms & Conditions.
Such action shall be subject to applicable law and without prejudice to any other legal remedies available to the Company.
10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to the Platform and its Content are owned by or licensed to Social Tree Technology Private Limited.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Website design;
- Software;
- Source code;
- Student Dashboard;
- Learning Management System;
- Study materials;
- Course materials;
- Videos;
- Presentations;
- Graphics;
- Images;
- Logos;
- Trademarks;
- Documents;
- Templates;
- Assessments;
- Question banks;
- Assignments;
- Research material;
- Audio-visual content;
- Databases; and
- Other digital or printed educational resources.
Except where expressly permitted by the Company, the Participant shall not:
- Copy;
- Reproduce;
- Modify;
- Translate;
- Publish;
- Upload;
- Download Content except where such downloading is expressly permitted or made available by the Company;
- Redistribute;
- Sell;
- License;
- Commercially exploit;
- Reverse engineer; or
- Create derivative works from any Content.
Unauthorized recording, screen recording, photography, downloading, copying, sharing, redistribution, broadcasting, or commercial use of live sessions, recorded sessions, learning materials, dashboards, software, or digital resources is prohibited.
Nothing contained in these Terms shall transfer any intellectual property rights to the Participant.
11. Certificates & Completion
Where applicable, participation certificates, internship certificates, completion certificates, recommendation letters, appreciation letters, participation records, or other programme-related documents may be issued after the Participant has successfully fulfilled the applicable Program requirements.
Eligibility for a certificate is based on successful completion of the applicable internship and prescribed requirements and is not merely based on payment of the Platform Registration Charge.
Participants using the Company's digital services may receive applicable certificates or documents digitally through the Platform, email, or another authorized digital communication channel.
Participants who complete the applicable process without using the Company's digital services may receive applicable certificates or documents through the Company's applicable physical/offline procedure.
The issuance, format, eligibility criteria, and validity of any certificate or document shall be determined by the Company or relevant issuing authority, as applicable.
Registration on the Platform or payment of the Platform Registration Charge shall not automatically entitle the Participant to any certificate, internship letter, completion letter, recommendation, academic credit, or similar document.
The Company reserves the right to withhold, refuse, suspend, or cancel issuance of any certificate or document where the Participant has:
- Violated these Terms & Conditions;
- Engaged in plagiarism or academic misconduct;
- Submitted false information or fraudulent documents;
- Failed to complete applicable Program requirements; or
- Engaged in conduct that adversely affects the integrity of the Program.
12. Third-Party Services
The Company may engage or integrate with third-party payment gateways, cloud service providers, communication platforms, software providers, educational partners, technology partners, learning platforms, or other service providers for delivering its services.
The Company shall not be liable for interruption, delay, technical malfunction, payment failure, downtime, data transmission failure, network issue, cyber incident, or service disruption arising from the acts or omissions of third-party service providers, subject to applicable law.
The Participant acknowledges that the use of third-party services may also be subject to the respective third party's terms and privacy policies.
13. Refunds & Cancellation
The Platform Registration Charge is a one-time charge applicable to registration on and use of the Company's digital Platform and associated digital/platform-based educational and support services.
The Internship itself is FREE.
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific Program, the Platform Registration Charge is non-refundable after successful online registration, except in circumstances specifically covered by the Company's Refund & Cancellation Policy or applicable law.
Refunds shall ordinarily not be granted for:
- Change of mind after online registration;
- Failure to participate in the Program;
- Failure to attend or complete the Program;
- Failure to complete assignments, activities, projects, reports, internship requirements, research work, or other prescribed requirements;
- Failure to use the online Platform or digital services made available to the Participant;
- Failure to obtain approval, permission, NOC, consent, or introduction letter from a college, university, employer, institution, or regulatory authority;
- Failure to satisfy institutional eligibility requirements;
- Academic rejection, non-recognition, or non-acceptance of the Program or associated internship, report, certificate, project, research work, or activity by an institution;
- Suspension, cancellation, or termination resulting from violation of these Terms & Conditions;
- Academic misconduct, plagiarism, fraudulent activity, or submission of false information or documents; or
- Other circumstances where the applicable digital/platform-based services have already been made available to the Participant.
The Company may consider refunds in exceptional circumstances, including:
- Duplicate payment;
- Multiple successful payments for the same registration;
- Excess payment due to a verified technical or payment-processing error; or
- Other circumstances where a refund is appropriate under applicable law or the Company's applicable policy.
Any approved refund shall ordinarily be processed through the original payment method and may be subject to verification and payment-provider processing times.
14. No Guarantee & Participant Responsibility
Registration on the Platform and payment of the Platform Registration Charge do not create any assurance, guarantee, or entitlement to:
- Internship placement;
- Employment or job opportunity;
- Academic admission;
- Academic credit or recognition;
- Approval by any college, university, employer, institution, or regulatory authority;
- Acceptance of any internship report, project, dissertation, thesis, research work, publication, or academic submission;
- Award of marks, grades, degrees, diplomas, certificates, or statutory recognition; or
- Any specific academic, educational, professional, or employment outcome.
Successful completion of an internship or Program depends upon the Participant's active participation, attendance where applicable, timely completion of assignments and activities, originality of submissions, compliance with Program guidelines, adherence to institutional requirements, and fulfillment of prescribed requirements.
The Participant shall be responsible for:
- Actively participating in the internship or Program;
- Completing assigned activities within prescribed timelines;
- Maintaining academic integrity;
- Obtaining necessary institutional approvals and permissions wherever applicable; and
- Complying with all Program and institutional requirements.
The Company shall provide the applicable internship and educational support services according to the applicable Program requirements but does not guarantee any specific academic, educational, internship, employment, or professional outcome.
15. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for delay, interruption, suspension, or failure in providing services resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, epidemics, pandemics, fire, war, terrorism, riots, civil disturbances, labour disputes, governmental actions, internet outages, power failures, cyber-attacks, technical failures of third-party service providers, or other force majeure events.
16. Privacy
The Company respects the privacy of its Participants and is committed to protecting personal information.
By registering on the Platform or using any of the Company's services, the Participant acknowledges that personal information may be collected, stored, processed, and used in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Social Tree Technology Private Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of opportunity, academic loss, institutional rejection, employment loss, business interruption, loss of data, loss of profits, or other consequential damages arising out of or relating to the use of the Platform or services.
The Company's maximum aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the Participant towards the applicable Platform Registration Charge, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Nothing contained in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
18. Modification of Services
The Company reserves the right to modify, update, improve, suspend, discontinue, replace, postpone, reschedule, or cancel any Program, session, mentor, trainer, learning resource, technology platform, feature, or service whenever reasonably necessary for academic, operational, legal, technical, administrative, or business reasons.
Where reasonably practicable, the Company shall make reasonable efforts to notify affected Participants of significant changes.
Where a change materially affects an already registered Program, the Company may provide an alternative arrangement or other reasonable solution where appropriate.
19. Termination
The Company may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate a Participant's access to the Platform, with or without prior notice where permitted by law, where the Participant:
- Violates these Terms & Conditions;
- Provides false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
- Engages in plagiarism, academic misconduct, or copyright infringement;
- Misuses the Platform;
- Shares account credentials with unauthorized persons;
- Engages in abusive, unlawful, or unethical conduct; or
- Violates applicable law.
Termination shall not affect rights or obligations accrued prior to termination.
Termination of Platform access shall not by itself cancel or invalidate an internship already undertaken or otherwise completed through the applicable physical/offline process, except where the Participant's conduct or circumstances require otherwise under the applicable Program requirements or law.
20. Electronic Acceptance
By selecting the checkbox indicating acceptance of these Terms & Conditions during online registration, the Participant provides electronic consent and agrees to be bound by the version of these Terms & Conditions identified on the registration page at the time of registration.
The Participant's electronic acceptance, together with the registration record, applicable declarations, payment record where applicable, and other relevant electronic records, may be maintained by the Company as evidence of the Participant's acceptance and registration.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with the Company's Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and any additional Program-specific policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between the Participant and Social Tree Technology Private Limited regarding the use of the Platform and services and supersede prior communications, representations, or understandings relating thereto, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
23. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in West Champaran (Bettiah), Bihar, India, subject to applicable law.
24. Changes to Terms
The Company reserves the right to amend, modify, update, or revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Revised Terms shall become effective upon publication on the Company's website or on the date specified in the revised Terms.
Where required or appropriate, Participants may be required to provide fresh electronic acceptance of materially revised Terms before continuing to use certain services.
Continued use of the Platform after publication of revised Terms shall constitute acceptance of such revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
